What is Adobe Animate

Adobe Animate CC is a re-branding of Flash Professional to incorporate:

  • 64bit Architecture
  • HTML5 Canvas animations using the CreateJS JavaScript library
  • SVG and Sprite Sheet support
  • Added video export support including 4K HD
  • The purpose is to leverage the tool to produce animations in whatever platform you see fit including the Flash (.swf) and Adobe AIR specifications.
