There is much recent debate on headgears. The problem is not whether islam dictates whether or not women should wear headgear. The problem is not whether the government should step in and make the women take off their headgear or not. I think the problem is the patriarchal society inherent in both which is looking at the women with their headgear and trying to dictate what women all around the world can or cannot wear instead of leaving it up to women to decide for themselves.
