- craft - "highly crafted" - craft as a kind of approach not object
- art is autonomous and more to do with the optical or audio effects, whereas craft is a material experience
- metaphors for it could be like stars in a constellation, or an archipelago
- my thoughts on the intro is that he articulates a lot of similar concerns that i have about art and craft. thinking about why i object to going to goldsmiths's programme only due to their "smart crafting" tagline - my lack of interest or experience with materials?
