Open Interventions for an Open Season

THIS IS WORK IN PROGRESS

OPEN OPEN SEASON

Artists put in a 8 month project proposal to take over open season and occupy 45 Armenian Street and run its programming as a group of artists from SIngapore.

Question: why are we all working for The Substation for free? ITS A TRAP!!!! TRAP!!!!!!

CLOSE SEASON

Artists put in a 8 month project proposal to take over open season and occupy 45 Armenian Street but do not do anything inside it. Yah I know its very high conceptual. Sorry the uncle and auntie may not get it, and neither do we. But unusual times call for unusual actions.

RANDOM SEASON

Artists write down one word each for themes on slips of paper. All papers are put into a hat. Artists draw one slip of paper each. They are forced to produce a proposal on that topic and submit it to Open Season. No excuses. It is a reflection of how life forces many things upon us and we must run with what we've got. Did you draw "Nostalgia" as a keyword again? Oh yes, I know how you hate to make another work about "Nostalgia", but that's life and you gotta suck it up.

NO SEASON

We embark on a 4 year performative piece in which we do not go to 45 Armenian Street and insulate ourselves from the news about it. On the 5th year, we finally return to see what it is like.
