I expect to completely rewrite this once I start my PhD in August 2022.
Many of my earlier works were about walking and psychogeography and I have always felt like my interest in worldbuilding and virtual reality was part of the same continuum. So the question I want to ask is, How do world-building simulations operate as a form of map-making or an “immersive cartography”? How does virtual walking through immersive world-building simulations perform as a logical extension of the process of being a flaneur? In other words: CAN I FLANEUR THROUGH VR?
