Group of people dressed as someone else (a beekeeper, a journalist, a pr consultant, and a textiles designer), given topics like "quantum crytography" or "tele-kinesis" and asked to describe how as citizens they would react to the technology or how it would affect them. For Quantum cryptography, what we took away from the term was that it involves a big amount of data being stuck with a small number of big corporation. We were to design 3 different scenarios:

Realistic

Society is at critical tipping point, all of us are victims of identity theft or intellectual property theft because digital security and crytopgraphy today is a paid subscription that only the richest can afford. There is a lack of transparency and accountability. The journalist is producing a newsnight report to tell the story of affected citizens and spark debate on the issue. There is a general suspicion of the people who have the power - who watches the watchmen?

Middleground

Camilia is rearing bees to distribute info and data. The bees are utilised to generate a random number or just work as a secret postal service for small bits of data. There is a secret network of analog data distributers, based on secret rooftop beehives, a bee society, hieroglypic language of bees.

Wild/Scifi

Quantum mechanisms are so adept they have ruined everything - there is only money and no digital identity possible. All accumulation of personality and identity is compromised. Any effort to retain individuality is totally futile. We are now returning to a pre-digital state.
