This might be a bit of heavy shit but I thought I'd write it down before I forget.

I just looked at the new highly skilled migrant programme requirements in UK because they changed in June this year, and I've just realised under the new rules I am suddenly much closer to qualifying for it!!! WOW. Last year I looked at it and i was far off the mark. cos they used to encourage only MBA holders or big earners, but the stupid home office people classify singapore as a Band A country that gets NO "uplift ratio" (something like india has a ratio of 5.3 so it helps make their incomes look much bigger when converted to pounds)...............

at this point I already can get 65 out of the 75 points needed.

and I've maxed out every category except: education and income.

my current income up to this day is in the 10pt income bracket

OK ACTUALLY ITS REALLY HARD OH NO.......................... PRACTICALLY DOUBLE

But I'm going to singapore in January for Chinese new year. So i can only work 9 mths MAX at this current job. thats already best case scenario but i dont really want to work all these 9 mths do i? and thats ends up being 5k short of 23k. but 5k on the side is a tall order even if i were a full-time freelancer ohgod what to do what to do.......
